Risk notice
Short answer: cryptocurrencies are volatile, their transactions cannot be reversed, the USDT issuer can freeze addresses and this software is in testing without an audit. Use it only if you understand and accept these risks, and never with money you cannot afford to lose.
Main risks
| Risk | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Volatility | The price of XMR and USDT can change while the swap is in progress. |
| Irreversibility | A confirmed transaction cannot be undone. A wrong address is permanent. |
| USDT freezes | Tether can freeze addresses. If it freezes your address or the contract, funds can get stuck. |
| Software in testing | The code has no external audit and may have bugs that cause losses. |
| Contract deadlines | If you do not refund before t0 when the XMR did not arrive, the maker could claim your USDT. |
| Recovery file | If you lose it together with the browser, you cannot recover the funds of a swap in progress. |
| Counterparties | Makers are independent. The contract protects you, but only if you act in time. |
| Networks and nodes | Congestion, node outages or high fees can delay your actions. |
| Legal and tax | You are responsible for complying with your country’s laws. Some jurisdictions restrict these operations. |
